Once Upon A Time...

Piper and I have been having some fun on our drive to and from work/daycare each day. We spend 45 minutes in the car each way, so we have plenty of time to talk, sing, etc. We've started working on making our own fairytale, mostly about things Piper likes to do. We haven't gotten very far yet, but Piper loves to say what we have so far over and over and over. And it's taken us about a week to come up with what we have so far. I start and then let her fill in the blanks as we go. Here's what we have so far (the parts in parenthesis are what she has filled in)-


Once upon a time, there was a Princess named (Piper) who live in (Camden). She loved to play outside and (get rocks). One day, while she was playing outside she heard a noise and when she looked up she saw a big animal and it was a (monkey, giraffe and Margaret). The giraffe asked Princess Piper is she would like to go for a ride on his back and Piper said (Yeah!!!! Monkey sleeping).

Ok, so that's it so far. We still have much more of our adventure to create, should keep us busy in the car for many days to come!
