She got one shot at this appointment and the nurse and myself both underestimated her strength. They had me hold her hands and the nurse held her leg. When she gave Piper the shot she managed to lift her leg and almost got her hand free. This resulted in a scratch on her leg from the needle and some extra tears (broke my heart, I can tell you that!). She was fine in no time and momentarily forgot all together about the shot at the mention of getting to pick out a sticker from the sticker drawer. However, on the way out of the doctor's office she would periodically grab her leg and yell, "My leg!!". She got several "Ahh" comments and giggles on the way out of the office.
