While at church last Sunday, Piper had two announcements to make that she felt needed to be shared with the congregation.
The first was a "shout out" she gave to baby Jesus just as the procession at the beginning of the mass was starting. A few people in front of us turned around to look and smile at the little girl who had just shouted "Baby Jesus". This comment was followed about 5-10 minutes later with her announcement, "Mommy, take bootsies off, Piper feet hot!" It was raining this morning so she decided to wear her frog rain boots to church, unfortunately these rubber boots also make her very hot. I guess that's just the price of fashion.
We have a radio/CD player in the kitchen that prior to kids we used to listen to NPR in the mornings and either radio or a CD of our choosing other times. We still use it quite often, but more and more it's used for Piper's growing CD collection. She absolutely loves music and is very specific about what songs she listens to. We're not yet sure what the criteria is to make a song a favorite, but once she finds a favorite she likes to listen to it over and over and over....
She also is equally passionate about dancing, and she will dance with or without music whenever she feels the urge. Often when she feels the urge to dance she lets us know by running over the the CD player and shouting "I dance" while she impatiently waits for someone to turn on her music.

That Piper is too funny!!! All sounds so familiar. Those things that yall say over and over to her are the same things said in our household.
